You Altars...

Many people in different cultures celebrate and use altars. At different times of the year we all celebrate the seasons but even so, we take time out for these celebrations to give respect to those we call our deity. The expressions we put into our alters also shows what is in our hearts. We as people need to share and become a community that expresses our devotion to our deities or deity.

well, I have decorated my altar for the yule season with colors of my heritage.  I am a danish American so I have a lot of red and greenery, with many candles of course.  Then I also have yule log even if its small...and later I will burn it for the year to come. Symbols for the God and his birth is good also. be creative, it will be lovely for all..

Does anybody have any suggestions for a Yule alter?

As you know this group is a bit slow, but with a bit of a push it would be something really really special. Everything I seen so far inspires me to make and change my alter or write about it...
Many blessings

I would think that with something like this group it would get some replies, but it seems I am polite and try and reply to each person. Emairelhd has done some really nice pictures of the alter she has, as I have..I just see your Gypsy and it was great. Now how to get others to reply is the question??

i absolutely adore altars. every surface in my house (that's out of reach for little hands :) is an altar. they are constantly changing and evolving. i'm going to take some pictures today and post them. i would really love to see other people's. not too many personal altar pictures have been posted and that was one of the things i was looking forward to when i saw this group!

Greetings to all!

Thanks for the invite. I regularly log in to read group messages, but don't often post if you ever wonder about that!
