The Dreaded 'C' Word

Cancer, the dreaded "C" word. It has become such an epidemic in our society that people are loath to even mention the name. Cancer is a disease that can affect many different parts of the body. Some forms of the disease are more life threatening than other forms. It is not only the disease that is painful but also the many methods for treating it. Radiation and Chemotherapy may kill the cancer, but these treatments are also dangerous to the body. Harsh side affects, such as hair loss and severe nausea, often accompany cancer treatment. The many faces of this devastating disease challenge an individual to show their fighting spirit and will to survive.

Merry meet!!
Got great news. It was precancer. They did the surgery today. They think they got it all. We will know in 2 weeks if they did. Thank you for the energy and prayers.

Jai,
Welcome to the group.

Have you tried adding nutritional therapy to your treatment? I'm a huge advocate of raw food nutrition (green juice, green smoothies, fruits, veggies, seeds, nuts, etc.).

Keep us updated. My thoughts and energy work are with you as you await word on the skin C.

Merry Meet. I'm a 12 year survivor from cervical cancer, 5 year for breast cancer, and 5 for genetic skin cancer. We are currently waiting right now to see if the skin cancer is back. Sadly we have no family near us to help. I am so glad I found this group. Thank you.
Blessed be.
