I have ancestors who lived in Evanston, Ill. I believe it is the oldest home there. if its not torn down, 822 crane Street. family name King or Scott. I believe I get a lot of my old world energy from them. let me know if the old place is still standing. Peace

Oberon Zell of Grey School and Don Lewis of Witch School have agreed to have a trivia contest about all things as magical to test their students and all comers. They will host the "Wizards and Witches Trivia Tournament" to meet on June 13th & 14th at the St. Louis Pagan Picnic, held at Tower Grove Park. The St. Louis Pagan Picnic is the largest Pagan gathering in the Midwest, and brings together thousands for a weekend of friendship, fellowship, entertainment, teaching and merchants. The Wizards and Witches Trivia contest will be just one of the many parts to this wonderful event but for the students of Grey School and Witch School, it is a highly anticipate one.

This meet is very special, as Oberon Zell, one of the Great Elders of the Pagan Community, will be returning to his hometown and where his amazing journey began. It was in this area that Oberon first coined the word “Pagan” as a religious self-identifier for people that is now used by millions today, founded the Church of All Worlds, and presented the Gaia Thesis, which is a view of life on earth being part of a greater whole known as “Gaia”. This amazing person, known as one of the Greatest Living Wizards today, makes his way back to this wonderful city of St. Louis, where he is challenging the next generation of Wizards and Witches to develop their skills.

The meet is at the 17th Annual St. Louis Pagan Picnic, hosted by Yarrow Coven, and has become a powerful draw for Midwest Pagans and those who are simply curious. It’s open to the public, and held at Tower Grove Park, this year June 13th & 14th.
