I have waited patiently for each object for my alter to come to me. I have wanted to just get but then I ask myself if that object came to me or if I wanted it. I waited so long for a small brass bell. When I was going to buy one my daughter pointed out the puter one below it called to me.. It seemed to have come from India and the sound is magnificent. That is also how I got my last ring. I tried them all on atleast 3 times. I tried that one on one more time on a diffeent finger and it fit. thank you Godess. I just wait patiently for what I need to come to me or even call me. I wait and it does come. Now I just need the statue or statues that represent my feeling for my alter and I will have it all done. Until the next item calls me. lol

Merry Meet all....I just joined. I found so much for my alter and all from 2nd hand stores. My latest and greatest find was a brass candle snifter. I wasn't going to buy one on ebay so i waited until it came to me. I found one in a little 2nd hand store in Iowa while visiting my daughter. Small store, small showcase. Now I am looking for a brass bell. I will wait unti the calling come again. Blessed Be all.

I love the idea of getting old beads and pieces from thrift shops. One thing I've always wanted to do but never gotten around to is making jewelry from old chandelier beads. At this antique shop near me, there is a whole chest of drawers filled with bits from old chandeliers. They already have holes and hooks in them. My other idea was to fill a small treasure chest with them and burry it somewhere then make a map for my little cousins to find.

That's awesome. When i was a kid, I used to buy ancient batman comics from a nearby antique store. That was the sort of thing that got me hooked. My real gateway drug was the Archie comics they had.

Hi All,

Name is Adam

Fav Picking in Junk stores, Goodwill, Army Navy Stores.

I like just about everything that calls to me, from the little things like a candle holder to the big stuff.

Fav Pagan pick would have to be just about anything on my alter, ebing from Ga and the dreaded "bible belt" I have had to hunt for those special items.
