Pagan News and Views Since 1998

You can look at this as another nutty evangelist we should pay no attention to, or we can inform those who may suffer from this man's mission to degenerate any form of Paganism as evil and unacceptable. The importance of this individual is that he is declaring Spiritual Warfare against Witches and calls for a gathering at Canberra, at the Captial of Australia, on October 17th, 2009 in order to certify his attacks against Witches and those who are less than holy.

It is again a question of research, and we are hoping anyone in Australia can help us understand this. Let me excerpt two pieces to show this:

Witches of Canberra Had Better Watch Out

Pastor Danny Nalliah has written about his concerns with the growing menace of witchcraft in Canberra.
As I have been prayerfully seeking the Lord, the Spirit of God has been revealing to me that the whole nation is under a curse because the witchcraft covens from Mount Ainsley in Canberra are cursing the Federal Parliament, which is the heartbeat of Australia where decisions are being made that effect the whole nation.

TOP URGENT From Ps Danny - Please Take Time To Read/ Fresh Blood Fo...

On Saturday 17th October 2009 we are calling on all Christians to mount an offensive spiritual warfare attack on the demonic strongholds over the nation. Christians from all over the nation will gather on top of Mount Ainsley in Canberra from 2pm to 5pm. We are calling a special afternoon of United Spiritual Warfare Prayer, Repentance, and Prophetic Worship.

I wish to challenge you to get to Canberra, our nation’s capital and hold up the hands of the body of Christ, Pastors and Christians leaders living there who seem very tired of fighting this battle alone, as I have spoken to some of them. If the Muslims can go all the way to Mecca, are we willing to sacrifice a bit to save our nation?

Alternatively, if you cannot get to Canberra, please rally a group of Christians together and go up to any high place the Lord leads you to and spend the afternoon of the 17th Oct 2009 from 2pm to 5pm in United Spiritual Warfare Prayer, Repentance and Prophetic Worship. Please make sure that you do not do this alone.

Ed's Note: As you can see this is a real hate speech situation, and maybe nothing more than acknowledging this exists is what we can do for now.

Is everyone else as horrified as I am about this pastor? I live in Vincentia NSW (about a 2 and a half hour drive from Canberra) and i've never heard of him. What is happening in Australia to let this go on?
This is defenetly scary - while I live far away, in Tampa, Florida, I am compelled to take some form of action. As a coordinator of "Healing and Light Gatherings", I would like to offer a positive and healing light ceremony for that day - a gathering in Spirit and online to unite for religious tolerance. What do you think?
I will think of details and post them later. Hugs and Blessed Be!
I think that's a fantastic idea. I am completely shocked that this is happening. Please let me know details when you work them out.

Blessed Be

I only live about 2 -3 hours from Canberra and I must admit until I read this post I had not heard of this Pastor or his beliefs and I have to say I am a bit shocked that his reaction to witchcraft is so severe. I would have thought that in this day and time the 'burn the witch' era had abated. No wonder many of us witches keep to ourselves and don't always talk openly about our beliefs to others. I am a solitary and have always been a solitary practitioner, and its people like him that make it hard for us to make our own decisions about the path we want to follow as individuals. I hold no grudge against other 'religions', as we all have the right to believe in what we want to, as long as we 'harm none' and don't force our beliefs on to others, which I might say is exactly what he is doing!

Blessed Be
I actually emailed this pastor several months ago when the article was first released and brought to my attention. I found he had been given some incorrect information about supposed "Blood sacrifices by witches", and who witches really are. Although I felt like most witches do (angry :) ) I decided to take the sympathetic approach, and found it worked quite well. The pastor is just ignorant and scared, therfore reacting to preceived "evil" which was correct from his understanding and viewpoint. I believe I enlightened him (a little), and have at least given him pause to reconsider some of his thoughts and understandings. Lesson learnt - always approach even the most vile seeming individuals with respect and intelligence, far more can be gained (usually :) ) What we all want is peace, mutual respect, freedom and love. If we show that to our "perceieved" enemy we more often than not gain not just more understanding of the other person and their situation, but also our own. You may or may not "win the battle", but by turning neative energy to positive, you ultimately triumph. Best to save the anger and negative energy for when there are no better choices left. I for one am not terrified of this pastor, he is (as I told him) a lost sheep himself, needing healing and love. I also suggested he might like to look at his position as a leader in his spiritual comunity to bring peace and love, instead of fear and hatered. He took it pretty well, which I think is a major step forward :) I never chased it up, so I wonder if he went through with it, and if so, what happened. If anyone knows, please tell me :)
