I have offered the Temple of Contemplation's help to Rev. Don regarding the 'War for Peace'.
I know you all will want to help with this which is a Tradition wide project.
I was thinking that we could have a regular prayer session using the 'peace sigil' Rev. Don has made. This sigil will help focus energy into any prayer or meditation for peace.
Please let me know your thoughts on this and if you want to help please let me know so we can set something up on a regular basis.
Below is a message from Rev. Don:
I am officially asking all Correllians to set aside a few moments during their Lammas/Imbolc celebrations to pray for Peace. If you are a Correllian, or any person who shares this goal, please join us in this prayer.
What are we praying for? Peace. But what does that mean? At this time I believe that the greatest impediment to peace is fear. As I have said, I believe that there are many who are trying to incite and spread fear through metaphysical as well as mundane means. Therefore I believe that at this time the best thing for us to do is not to attempt to focus our prayer too narrowly, but rather focus generally on an energy of peace, love, and healing.
I am not asking Correllians to offer this prayer at any one given time –being in so many different countries and so many different time zones, attempting to co-ordinate a single time for prayer would be self-defeating. Rather I am asking you to focus on a single sigil during your prayer, which has been charged to co-ordinate and disseminate the energy.
If you have a Crystal Web Access Point, please open it and focus your prayer through it. If you are among those present this spring when the new Crystal Access Point Under-The-Hill was created, please focus through it as well as your Personal Access Point. This will help to more quickly disseminate the energy. If you do not have a Crystal Web Access Point just do the prayer as described below, and the sigil will do the rest.
Offer a brief prayer for peace, while imagining the sigil strongly. Meditate on thoughts of peace, love, and healing, focusing these energies into the sigil. As you do this, imagine the spiral circling inward, integrating the energy into the sigil. When you have sent all the energy that you comfortably can, give thanks and allow the image of the sigil to fade. Make sure to clear and release afterwards.
By using the sigil to focus the energy, rather than trying to co-ordinate a single time for the prayer, what we should see is a wave of energy rolling around the world during the course of the Sabbat celebrations, and then anchoring into the Crystal Web. Understand that this is a first step, and many more prayers and rituals will follow in coming weeks.
Thank you for taking the time to join us in this prayer!
