About Me

Blessings Everyone! My name is Kyle and I've chosen the Craft Name Aphren. I am a college graduate with a double major in Religious Studies and Theater. I have my 3rd Degree through the Correllian Tradition and I am a licensed, ordained minister through another non-denominational ministry. I am also a member of the Order of Peace Weavers, and the Order of Artificers. I'm interested in all things religious, from Buddhism and Hinduism to Islam and other indigenous religions. I would like to pursue a masters degree in comparative religion.

My emphasis in Theater was in technical theater and costume construction in particular. I enjoy sewing and I keep myself busy with small projects. I hope to do more sewing and eventually market myself more so that I can perform more marriages.I am currently the chief priest of the Four Pillars Proto-Temple

I am absolutely outraged. I am a religious studies Major and I have done a lot of study of various religions as well as Wicca. I am Wiccan by choice although I see the truths in all religions. I have somewhat become a Religious Tolerance Activist as well as an advocate for the Islamic Faith. After this whole 9/11 thing, the media has made many people believe that Islam is a religion of hate and anger and terrorism. Religious fanatics in any religion is a bad thing, but I can tell you that there… Continue

Wicca and Ecology

Posted on November 11, 2009 at 6:28pm 0 Comments

I am in the process of finishing this class at my university called Religion and the Earth. It is a class outlining the modern ecological issues we face as a race and then it spoke about each of the main religions and their views toward the environment. And now it is finishing up with what we can do, and new ecological views. It is so surprising to me to see that many of the traditional beliefs about the environment have stuck around. Although it is not dinner conversation many of the old… Continue
