Food for thought...

"Quod est inferius est sicut quod est superius, et quod est superius est sicut quod est inferius, ad perpetranda miracula rei unius."

-Hermes Trismegistus

"And this, our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything."

The hardest part of moving forward is trying not to look back. The past is security, unchanging... but the future is uncertainty, possibility. When we step beyond the borders of the status quo, we enter into a jungle of uncharted territory... But change is inevitable, so enjoy the adventure of it!

DOROTHY CLUTTERBUCK:

"Of all the Ladies that I know
There's only one can please me so
That all her Looks and all her Ways
Make Music for me all my Days.
For Life, I love her, and adore
I only saw her once — not more
But once I saw her, as I say
But once she crossed my Path, my Way
For Ever. She will be my Queen
Where did I see her? — in a Dream."

Malicious Manipulation within and without Paganism

We have all experienced malicious manipulation at some time in our life… disagreements and disputes turn to attacks between people, friends betray each other, people use control to cause harm or pain to others. I would

bet that most people have maliciously manipulated others at some point in time

The Cycle

Today I went on a walk. The air is warm, but still cooler than the heat of august. The leaves are turning or turned and the fields are all dulling to the browns and golds that mark the slow procession into winter. The pulse of the wind and water is a little slower... and if the land had an emotion today it would be cautious anticipation.

For the last week or so each evening flocks of birds have speckled the sky on thier furious migration south. Each degree cooler and each minute the… Continue

Ah love! Perhaps no force is stronger and more persistent than this one. We live to love, and a few people have died for it. Love is the force that causes creation most often, and it is love that can cause destruction.

Love is inexplicable and diverse. Most definitions of love are along the lines of " a strong affection or desire"... but it can be much more than that.

Universal Love: Love of the… Continue
