Sometimes, I am excited about the progress I have already done. Sometimes it pains me that I am not where I want to be. It is those times I have to believe that I am where I am suppose to be. Even if it takes me longer than anyone else, this is still my journey and I am where I am at because that's where I needed to be. And when I ponder that, I realize that there was a lesson I needed to learn somewhere. That is why I was there. It is the old adage; "Wherever you are, there you are!"
Movies%20and%20me.docxWhen I write about movies or any motion picture; I am not playing the role of a critic. I don’t think I have the right to judge anyone’s labor of love. To create that visual tapestry on celluloid is not easy; irrespective how good or bad the movie is. There are a lot many people who depend on…Continue

I have found myself thinking quite a lot about my spiritual journey. My past has been a collage of multiple Christian religions and multiple churches. I sought out the feeling of acceptance and belonging, not only through the god and son that they spoke of but from the members of those churches, but no matter how far I delved into the readings and beliefs of these religions I found myself feeling unfulfilled and lost. The more I studied them, the more I found things that made me doubt them.…Continue

Here I'm am settling inside while the weather outside is a wintry mix! It's currently snowing now here in the Philadelphia area.
Meanwhile my cat and I are nice and snug inside.
I have to say that its been a while since I have been here.
Haven't done too much of the "witch" thing lately. I really have to do that. I still have my own BOS. Maybe I'll post some of the spells that I have done.

This is my first time sharing and it will probably be lengthy, for which I shall apologize beforehand, but I sincerely hope you will stay with me till the end and offer up your thoughts because I am truly frustrated at this point and desperately need some advise. I will forever be thankful to all who share their feelings and consideration will be given to all! With all that being said, on to the dilemma!
I am a 58 year old practicing solitary (16 years) residing with a feline familiar…Continue
The winter storm that hit the East Coast this week just about missed Central Virginia. The Blue Ridge Mountains moved most of the snow to the Northeast and we only had a light dusting, about half an inch, of snow. However, its…Continue

"An it harm none, do as ye will" is what the Wiccan Rede states. So knowing that, what do we do when someone we care about has treated us badly, but will undoubtedly be asking for our help in the near future?
Let me explain. One of my closest friends has been having issues with an on-again-off-again boyfriend. The guy treats her badly but instead of doing something about it, she just lets him do whatever he wants to her; physically and emotionally. So ever since September she has been…Continue

I suppose that one of the nice things about the LibraryThing.com “Early Reviewer” program is that it's like a grab-bag gift exchange, but instead of the shape of the item, and how it's wrapped, the way you end up guessing what you're going to like is the paragraph or so of promo copy that…Continue

All of you who know me, knows I love my coffee. Many have thought it was funny when they watch me with that first cup in the morning. And they have laughed when I said it was my morning ritual. Without really understanding what it is that makes it so. Ambrosia may be the food of the gods, but coffee, coffee is there drink.
Lets brake it down.
The coffee plant, grows as all plants do from the earth. It is nurtured by the land and the Mother keeps it with in herself until it is…
I have to predicate this review with a bit more “disclosure” than I usually do ... I've known author Paul M. Rand for a while, and even interviewed with him a couple of years ago for a position at his agency, the Zócalo Group (sadly, I didn't get hired). This past summer, he gave a presentation at Social Media Week Chicago where he previewed the book … and…Continue

I suppose that I should stop being surprised when books that I get via the LibraryThing.com “Early Reviewers” program aren't exactly what I had anticipated them to be when I clicked that “Request it!” link. After all, these are (usually) new books coming out, for which the…Continue

I had great hopes for this book when I “won” it in the LibraryThing.com “Early Reviewer” program … it sounded like the sort of cognition/cosmology sort of thing that I've not indulged in for a while, but read a great deal of previously. Steve Hagen's…Continue

I am a mother of two wonderful children. I have been a witch for now 14 years and have learnt it all on my own. I have come here as I want to go further with my learning and become an high Priestess.
I didn't have the best childhood and I turned to witchcraft for some help and a way better my life.
I hope to learn all I can and forever keep the knowledge to share with others.

Can one be a priest in the Correllian Nativist Traditon and a practitioner of core shamanism? Are the two paths compatible or do they conflict? I don’t know if you have thought about that but I certainly have and so here are some of my musing along with my answers to the questions. Please remember that these are my answers and you don't have to accept them as yours.
I studied shamanism a long time before I even became aware of the Correllian Nativist Tradition. In fact, my…Continue
