Woodland Spirit

I am rather like a woodland creature. Our house surrounded by trees, by woodland.

The Elves, the Eldritch are my immediate neighbors and communal friends.

My Gateway to ElseWhere is the LadyTree next our house as She bends Her branches…

Stuck in the swamp

I along with many others here found my way to the spiritual path I am on from somewhere else. Where, varies from person to person and the how is unique to each individual. There are a great deal of people that come from other belief systems because they just could not rationalize the teachings, maybe they were headed in a different direction in life, maybe the structure was too rigid or perhaps not rigid enough. It could be they are just curious about things they have heard; maybe they will…

This has been a transformational week. We cleaned out the house last weekend. Filled a dumpster and donated four car loads to goodwill. Monday we finished laundry and packed what we want for the next five months. Tuesday morning the mover showed up to pack up our house. Within eight hours everything was boxed. That night we moved into my parent’s house. Early Wednesday the movers were back to clear everything out. By early afternoon, my house was bare. We walked out for the last time. …

Merry meet! A candle for Alan

I just recently signed up for the school and wanted to say hi to everyone and thank you for warm welcome. I pray and hope that Alan makes a full recovery. I haven't seen anything lately to his condition. Many blessings to you all. John

The Frozen Ground

I'm trying to figure out what to do with a couple of items frozen to the ground. The first is my offering dish that I use for mature spirits. It's frozen to the ground. Hopefully it will be lose tomorrow with the rain. Maybe I'll be able to dig into the ground to free the statue, that is if I can find it. I'm not exactly certain where it is. I feel I need to make an effort, since as part of the spell I said I would unbury it at the end.

The Banning of the bible in School

The Christian Values has not helped the word in the last 30 years

We had this same issue when we where going to school I agree If you are going to allow any and all religious materiel then i say let them make up there own mind about it as well.

If the Christian Values you uphold would of made any difference at all the world would not be the place that it is today.

Things like Marriage and Family Values would of not been lost and the church has failed in the last 30…

The Popes Response

It is from your own House that send out hate or mockery as you put it.

The Christians have no right NONE to cut down another because he or she feels they are of a higher power Your NOT! Your mockery is of your own when you let these so called men or women of god bash and Judge when you have no right to do so...Damnation does not work Realism of only a christian faith is not valid We seek only peace and the freedom to

all of our "Equal Rights" Gondi once said I like your god but i…

Merry meet all. I have not been here for a long time, life has taken a few unexpected turns as it does, this year I am hoping to be able to spend more time focusing on what I want from life and not that of others. I look forward to having time to look through the sight properly and finding where every thing is again maybe even take a couple of classes and meet you all.

May the light be with you through out your day.

The Unexpected Turns in Life

Next Thursday we will have closed on the house. A week ago I thought we might never sell. A week from today, we will be living at my parents, the house will be packed.
Plans and routines will be flipped upside down for the next couple of weeks. It's a good thing. Resolutions won't be met, life takes priority.
My wish is that this home will serve the buyer's needs as well as it has served ours. I desire a smooth completion of the sale. So mot it be!

Random Thoughts of the Week

It’s been a slow start to the new year. Mostly because I’ve been sick all week. I broke down and went to the doctor yesterday. Medication has started to make a difference, but I have a way to go to good health. Staying home sick yesterday meant my little boy spent the day in my lap. He was sweet and loving.

Being ill all week did put me behind in my fitness goals for the week. I couldn’t run yesterday. One day short of my goal. I won’t be running in the frigid cold, not while…

"Je Suis Charlie" - Speaking Out Against Extremism

Greetings all,

I am deeply shocked by the recent violence in Paris centered on the despicable murder of the staff of the Charlie Hebdo magazine by radical Islamists. On behalf of the Correllian Tradition I extend heartfelt sympathy to the families and friends of the victims of this outrage. On behalf of the Correllian Tradition I specifically…

A Year and a Day: A Path to Rediscovery Post #2

Just completed my first Full Moon Ritual in a long time. It was exhilarating! I also pronounced my Wiccan Name to the Goddess and God and am so happy to have finally found it after 15 years. It feels good to get back into practice, to feel the connection to Spirit.

Lesson Learned

I've been writings lot in the last few days because it's been a slow week at work. As much as I love to write, I know I won't have as much time most weeks. My goal is to write once a week.

I've earned my first degree and have taken the second degree course.I have first degree because I wanted to be part of the Correlian tradition. I never finished my second degree project. One thing I love about the Correlian tradition is that the information is there for us to learn. Some day I may…

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all my fellow members! I have read many blogs about resolutions, and I thought I should share mine. I am not going to think of these as resolutions per say, because those never last. I am going to instead think of making new lifestyle changes to 2015. I want to continue down a path and walk along side my faith and with my goddess. I want to incorporate my practices into my every day life. take a deep breathe, appreciate the earth, my life and what I am so grateful to be…

The Subject of Pay

The subject of pay came up in office gossip today. We didn’t talk about our own pay, but rather what the rumored offer was to someone who didn’t actually take the job. Then what the starting salary for junior engineers might be. All it proved was that if you want to make more money, it’s all about timing and how much does a company need you. It makes me wonder if I could have made more money for making my move.

If I take a look at my situation, by moving alone, my pay rate goes from…
