Nurse Witch

Hello all,

I just wanted to post because I haven't in a very long while. I just started nursing school!!! It is a 2 year 3 month program that is offered through Breckenridge School of Nursing and my local ITT Technical Institute. I will graduate as an RN with an associates of applied science of nursing after passing the NCLEX exam. I just don't think their are enough people of alternative faiths that are open. I really hope to be a great nurse. I can't wait to help people for a living.…

Petrified Wood -- A Past-Life Remembrance Tool

If you read my post “The Best Shamanic Journey Ever” you know that I seem to have a special connection to petrified wood. I started collecting rocks in Colorado when I was about six years old. I’ll be 62 in a couple of weeks and I have never stopped appreciating and collecting rocks. As the years have gone my focus has expanded. When I started collecting rocks I was a six-year old fascinated by their colors and…

Help is needed!!!

Merry meet and be truly blessed. I have a problem that I need as many as I can to help with. I have a petition on Causes I started tonight. It's because of my son. I need all the help I can truly get. I love all the prayers I can get for them, but what I need is signatures. I am preparing to take our government by the ear!!! And the only way I can do this is if I make LOTS of noise. Go to Facebook and click on my name. My site there has the link to the petition so you can put your…

“Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled with the spirit of God, and blesses are those who are persecuted for righteousness for theirs are the kingdom of Heaven.”

Life is about choice.. choosing to do the right thing even though your alone in that choice, by not letting the fear of the unknown cloud your thinking. In that fear when the path become hard to see we run back to what we know, even if what we know is broken beyond…

My new novel

It has indeed been an interesting year. And a busy year. After years of searching I've finally found a publisher for my vampire novel and on Feb. 25 To Touch the Sun, my vampire novel set in Chicago was released. It's close to my heart because it's taken so long to get it published. Here's the synopsis:

"1916: France, World War I

Narain Khan was 25 when he left his native India to fight in the trenches of the Western Front during WWI. It was his hope that he could stay on after…

Nourishing Infusions

I love Nourishing Herbal Infusions. As I live in a big city with no backyard it can be hard to get connected and rooted into plant medicine how I would like to. Nourishing Infusions give me a way to get down and dirty and super involved with my herbs on a daily basis.

It's all a hands on process for me, I pick the herb, I inspect the way it looks and smells.…

Ashwagandha, Fibromyalgia, and You.

Fibromyalgia sufferers are no strangers to aches, pain, memory loss, or sleepless nights. While the disease itself is very misunderstood and often undiagnosed it's been around since the 1800's. Then it was known as "muscular rheumatism" then "fibrosis" it wasn't until 1976 that it received the name that we know it as now " fibromyalgia". 1990 was a big year for…
