All craft people are known by the tools that they use. Carpenters use hammers and saws; a blacksmith uses a forge, anvil and a variety or hammers, tongs and punches. If you see a craft person carrying tools on the way to work you immediately know what trade was chosen. Practitioners of the Art of Wicca have their tools as well. Our primary tools are the staff, wand, and athame and if you saw me carrying my tools you would know that I’m not a carpenter, plumber or blacksmith. You would see me…Continue

I have seen the Charmed ones at least twice now and a woman with long wavy brown brown hair, as well as me being up in the attic of the charmed ones and someone holding me back and saying " get the book of shadows", I have also seen someone giving berth at least on 3-4 different occasions. I have also hear voices and people calling my name.So if their is anyone that can help i would appreciate it

I feel like the theme of my life lately has been water: constantly flowing at a steady rate. I've had major changes at my job that brought out changes in myself for the better. I've been seeing a hardworking side of me that I never had before. Even better, my new general manager sees this and is helping me cultivate it so that maybe I might get a raise or even a promotion.
This strong influence of fluidity has also affected me in my spiritual path. I took the step and…Continue

Reiki popularity soaring and more teachers are needed.
Over the past two decades, Reiki has gained much wider acceptance in the medical establishment. Hospitals are realizing the effectiveness of the treatments and also the increased patient satisfaction. Many hospitals now include Reiki in their patient services, provided by their own physicians, nurses, therapists, and other staff.
An abundance of Reiki Master/teachers are needed as more people become interested in natural…Continue

Given the title of this blog, it is about my spells and not yours. Maybe you are a really good wiccan and your spells always work. However, if you are like me sometimes they do and sometimes they just don’t seem to click. I have been wondering why and have even kept a spell log where in addition to recording the spell I keep track of things like weather, moon phases, solar energy levels and my feelings at the time I…Continue
I am pleased with myself currently. While it has taken me longer than your average student (computer/internet issues cropping up), I have at long last reached the final stage of First Degree training: the pair of book reports.
Now I am studious in nature, the T in my INTP means Thinking. Which I do a lot of. Just, I've never been particularly good at writing book reports. My fear of public speaking got in my way as a child in school and I would avoid writing the reports so I wouldn't…Continue

Most of you are probably too young to remember the Smothers Brothers’ routine “I Talk to the Trees”. I too talk to the trees, the stars and the breeze. We (wife, three boys and I) went for a hike at Thunder Ridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains last Saturday and I came across this tree:

I am a pretty techie kind of guy (years in business as an IT manager and consultant, CPA, hospital controller) and now I’m an accounting and fraud investigation professor/CPA in small, private university. For forty years my world has been enclosed by four walls and the energy that has surrounded me has been 60 Hz from the computers and screens on my desk (yup, more than one). My involvement in the Correllian Tradition over the past two or three years has opened me up to the natural world,…Continue

This one came to me through a somewhat convoluted route. The author (and noted speaker/trainer) Brendon Burchard was wanting to help his friend Paulo Coelho's new book Manuscript Found in Accra get a big boost over on Amazon, and he offered, were one to buy…Continue

While you can easily do witchcraft without tools, I really like using them! They help me feel like the magic and energies are working. This is only my personal opinion, however.
These are my absolute favorite tool. My practice is almost entirely composed of candle magic. I use them for cleansing, slow releasing spells, curses, basically anything you can think of. I admit I have made quite a few study candles in my past! I also use them for my daily devotions. Basically…

When your family tells you they don't except you for being a Wiccan or for that matter any religion, or believing in anything, it will hurt. Just happened to me. You may get pushed out of places that were once comfort zones. When you drown yourself in all this negative thought, you must remember that we are doing a Divine Act. Scott Cunningham wrote, "It is an awesome feeling, and a greater responsibility." They who don't understand, may never understand. those who we may help to see a…Continue

Lionheart’s Protection Potion
This potion is best prepared during the waning moon as close to the new moon as possible. Also steel or iron pots are good for creating protection potions (though for any other potion I highly recommend glass or earthenware pots).
• Steel or Iron pot
• Mortar and Pestle
• Bowl or mixing vessel
• Measuring Spoons (table spoon and teaspoon needed)
• Jar or Bottle that can hold at least 1 ½…

Now, this one's going to be a bit hard to review, because, well … it's a “quick reference” work! As those of you who may have been stalking me over the years of my putting up these reviews will likely know, I've been not only on the web since the very early days (I bought…Continue

Although I'm sure my wife will argue otherwise, I am able to consider suggestions, especially when the subject is books. Heck, I'll read stuff just because I was able to get it for a buck at the dollar store. So, when the manager of the…Continue
