My Ingredient Profiles and Spiritual Work.

If you're following my write-ups for ingredients, you may wonder why some details are not mentioned. I have reasons for that.

My profiles of incense ingredient info was hard fought and won for the practical side of the combustible style of incense. There are huge numbers of site that cover incense available on the web with a great number of recipes. Many include why a formula is sacred to one tradition or another. Finding a very magical recipe is easy. Finding notes on what it smells…

Combustible Incense Ingredient Profile: Star Anise

Yep, time for me to start organizing what I actually know about this tricky craft. In theory, this can help some others skip some of the failures on the craft by learning from my accidents.

Star Anise comes from China. The part used in cooking is the seed and pod and it had a flavor similar to true anise and licorice root. It can be purchased at most grocery stores in whole form, but is often less expensive at an asian grocery.

In a non combustible format, this stuff can be…

First Coloring Page - Queen NefertIti

Here is our first Coloring Page. I will be posting one per day, around this time, at least five days per week. Subject matter will probably vary, but at least these first ones are likely to be of historical figures. I have chosen the Egyptian Queen NefertIti as the subject for the first Coloring Page, because she has been so much in the news of late. Queen NefertIti was the wife of King AkhenAten, and was extremely…

Declaración de Rev. Don Lewis

Statement on the Pensacola Murders from Rev. Don Lewis

Greetings all,

I want to take this occasion to firmly condemn the ghastly murders committed recently in Pensacola, Florida. Murder is a horrible thing and should be rightly condemned whenever it occurs and regardless of who commits it. Murder violates both secular law and Wiccan teachings, damaging not only the immediate victims, but society as a whole.

For those who do not know what event I am referring to, a family of three was murdered in Pensacola, Florida. Because the…

Bad to Good!

This weekend started out awful!

Late Thursday I found my cord to my lap top chewed up and could not charge my laptop. UGH! Well, my son had a charger to his mini laptop that charged mine! Then on Friday my lawyer from the TVM called and said all I am going to get is $16000 ooh but no I am going to appeal that. That amount is not even covering all the medical bills. Saturday my hubby had to go into work. Sunday I fell outside and cut my big toe and my foot open. But a few hours ago my…
