Nana's Samhain Adult Edition 2012

Do you think that is another set of books? Nana's Samhain Adult Edition. I could do the same type of thing I have done for the Witchlings. I wonder if I should. If you have an opinion on this please do post it. I know there is a lot of informaiton out there for adult type celebrations. But maybe there is room for one more...who knows.

Spell boxes made and blessed...check, wine chilled and pumpkin muffins in oven...check, all dressed in Witchy outfit with my Celebration…

A new poem i wrote

Whispers, dreams of a better day

Set adrift in a motionless thought wave

how i choose to travel the ocean of

a better dream on the way to tomorrow

lets follow,

the beat, the heart, the basic rhythm of the soul

do you feel whole?

Hallowed dreams, again,

happening every night

dreaming of a way from yesterday

like a ghost, like a whisper

like a day , like the wind

like the song inside your heart

Do you dare to dream…

I am Published!!!

Theresa Janie and her co-author Gl Gordon live in Laramie Wyoming. Several years ago they met while working at a lumber company in town. When the company hit hard times and went out of business after over 50 years in the area, they each went their own way. Mr. Gordon retired to a life of leisure and soon figured out that…

Scrapbook of Shadows

A little something I have been working on for a few days. Some of the pages are incomplete but it is coming out beautifully. The notebook was a birthday gift from my mom and I thought it would be perfect.

This is the first completed page.…

Samhain Excitement

I am so excited for Samhain. Every year I get a witchy charge right before Samhain like my batteries are getting replaced. I've set up a festive altar in my living room (with a picture of my beloved Nana on it) (http://www.witchschool.com/photo/samhain-altar-2012) and am so excited to have a Halloween party on Friday with some of my best friends. Then Sunday I'm attending a Full Moon Circle with some cool people. Can't…

Is It ok To Be A Witch For Halloween?

so I don't know what you but I kinda don't like seeing toy brooms and cauldrons,

I think it is ok to dress up as a witch for Halloween but using important tools of the craft as part of the costume is a bit insulting, I don't see pentagrams going around with a witch costume which I think is great but seeing little kids running around with the brooms in between their legs and pretending to fly is insulting to me.

we don't use brooms or basom as they are known in the craft to fly…

Spell from charmed

Spell To Envoke The Power Of Three
Hear now the words of the witches,
the secrets we hid in the night,
the oldest of Gods are envoked hear,
the great work of magic is sought,
in this night and in this hour,
I call upon the ancient power,
bring your powers to we sisters three,
we want the power, give us the power

Gold, Natives & Wild West Shows ...

This was a “win” from the LibraryThing.com “Early Reviewers” program … and something of a surprise. First of all, it was a release from the South Dakota State Historical Society Press, which certainly is a “niche” publishing house, and I doubt that I would have come into contact with it had it not…

CDO, Because the Letters Need to be in Order.

This week, I worried less about performing magick and more about figuring out the ritual that puts me in a state from which to perform magick properly. I'm still a fledgling after all. The ceremony was still awkward, but a bit more relaxed than the last. At least the words flowed easier, and I was excited this time to know that it was a dark moon—before I hadn't a clue about the moon phase. The weather was perfect this time around as well. I was able to open the windows to let in that fresh…

Very Happy Sunday!

Merry Meet all. So happy to have stumbled across WitchSchool!
Very interested in learning all about the magickal uses of herbs.
Very new to the Wiccan path but have been drawn to it many times throughout my life.
Currently I am reading Christopher Penczak's Inner Temple of Witchcraft, Paul Huson's Mastering Herbalism and Raven Grimassi's The Wiccan Mysteries. All very well written books, imho :-)

Reframing reality?

Don't shoot ...

I'm signed up for a massive number of newsletters on the web, ranging all over the place, with a lot of them being thinly-veiled shills for various grossly over-priced “coaching” programs, webinars, etc. One of these this summer was featuring a throw-in of a copy of this book … which…
