As you know Rev. Ed Hubbard and I are leaving for Australia on Monday 30 November to attend the Parliament of World Religions, which is being held in Melbourne from 3 – 9 December.
This is an important step for Witch School because on Monday 7 December Ed will be presenting at the Parliament on the subject of “Global and Interreligious Education Through Peer-to-Peer and Online Learning.” Although Witch School students may not always realize it, Witch School is a… Continue

There is nothing wrong with the website of the Second Degree Exam. My problem is that I don't have an online teacher to submit my final essay exam. I hadn't had one in months. I mean that my last teacher quite so, I was forced to do the last lessons on my own.
The other problem is that I am not perfect at grammar (Who is anyways). I'm a poet not grammarian. And what about the final project? I did write an essay for my last teacher? I also did my first… Continue

I suppose it must be done eventually.
Love the whole social networking thing by the way. But I admit I've had a great deal of trouble keeping up so far. Mostly because of the hectic pace of my mundane life. Not sure where this falls really...mundane or magical. It must be somewhere on the edge. Perhaps things will slow down...or maybe I'll be able to focus a little better and make myself keep up. I'm starting to get back into the groove with my lessons, and that's a relief. I'd like to see… Continue

So everyone knows about wicca or paganism which it is sometimes known but not everyone is into it.
Christians sometimes mistake paganism and witchcraft because they think it is linked to the devil somewhere along the line but everyone has to know PAGANISM CAME BEFORE CHRISTAINLTY!
But the wiccan rede has in it
“Harm none, do what ye will” which means do what you want with witchcraft but don't harm anyone so we don't do curses or anything,
Pagans are very in tune… Continue

Ha... now i gotcha!
How else could I tell you that you don't need anyone else's spells. I will tell you what you DO need though...
Most witches who have been practicing for a significant amount of time learn that the best spells and rituals are handcrafted. They put them together based on knowledge research and their intent. The better thought out a spell is and the more natural it is FOR YOU the better it works. Of course spellwork in a group setting should be either made… Continue

So you are a witch now eh?
Me too! I was a teen once too, and now like your mom's and dad's I am a parent too! Becoming a mom as given me a whole new light on where parent's mind's are at!
A little math and a look at my profile will tell you that I was 11 when I began my practice of Wicca. I was within a couple years of being confirmed in the catholic church- and that was a daunting task hanging over my head. I was preparing to devote myself to "god" and Christ! It REALLY… Continue

In the News
The AFA (American Family Association) has called for a Christmas boycott of all Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic stores, because the company’s ads have not used the word Christmas. Gap did in fact, use the word Christmas in its holiday ad this year, but also mentioned, Hanukkah, Kwanza and Solstice. When Gap’s new holiday ad came out this past week, the AFA immediately sent out an “action alert” condemning it as being condescending towards Christian Christmas… Continue

Okay, well not exactly in Cinci, but its the closest main city near here *out in the boonies*.
Anyway, I was walking around campus today and I saw a random yellow ginkgo leaf on the sidewalk. I thought perhaps it was painted on, because people do that sometimes. While I was in class I was wondering how that leaf had gotten there. I was pretty sure we didn't have a ginkgo tree.
When I was coming back from class, it was still there, just kind of hanging out, so I picked it… Continue

I have studied Wicca most of my adult life. I am 40 now. I took a small detour to the Christian church for a few years, but was always called back to my roots in Wicca. I consider myself a Witch. Maybe I'm wrong. I have never been initiated, been a member of a group or coven. I have always considered myself a solitary until joining WSI a few months age.
I decided to restart my training here at WSI. I also have a friend who is studying with me. My friend is new to wicca, a few months.… Continue

Everyone has one of these. I figured I'd go ahead and get mine out of the way. My craft name is Silver-Fang Wolfkin, but I prefer to be known as Faofeng (I feel my craft name is meant to be between me and the Gods only). I'm a furry, and I've been experimenting with ways to incorporate my animalistic nature into my spirituality. I love video games and anime. I study Japanese (にほんごをべんきょします。) and I am a Freshman in college. I'm relatively fickle, and I bounce back and forth between eclectic… Continue

A few weeks back, somebody commenting on one of the posts in my main journal strongly
encouraged my reading some George Carlin. Since I've been "coached" to consider the serendipitous
for the job search and much associated with it, I decided to take up the suggestion and order in three
of Carlin's books. All I… Continue

I have been taking classes at Witch School and some of the classes do not tell who is teaching them and I was just curious if someone could possibly help to find out who teaches them.
The course that I am taking is The Binder Chakra Template. As well as the Grimoire of the Apprentice Wizard.
I have questions but no way to get them answered.

Well, I have recovered from the second surgery, which was to remove the infected bone flap from my head, replace it with steel mesh, and put in a port for longterm IV antibiotics. Those are done, and the port comes out in a week. I have permanent short term memory problems, and may be disabled. I still walk with a cane, and it's all due to infection. My wife and I are moving to Panama City Forida in 2 weeks.I cannot wait to get away from the cold. The new house seems quiescent which is good.… Continue

I just completed my Second Degree Ritual Robes exam and I got a 92%. I think that I might do the final exam next week. That is if I'm not that busy. That reminds me I have to schedule that in my phone. Yes, my cell phone is also an agenda.
And I haven't gotten any response for some suggestions as to a future ritual that I am wanting to do next year. I would like to do a Samhain ritual based on the Story of Isis and Orisis (However you spell his name). That… Continue
