Chancellor's New Year Address - Year 16 Aq. / 2016 AD

Greetings all!

As you know, it has been my custom these many years to begin each new Calendrical Year with a New Year’s Address. Candlemas of this year will mark the thirty-seventh year since Lady Krystel and I became First Priestess and Priest of the Correllian Tradition. That is a long time, and after so long it is no…

Spiritual Growth During the Winter Cycle

“In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.”

― Albert Camus

The Abrahamic religions practice that time is linear, beginning with the act of creation by God and that time will end with the end of the present order of things. Ancient cultures such as Incan, Mayan, Babylonians, Ancient Greeks, Hinduism, Buddhists, Jainists, and others saw time as cyclical. For example in Indian religions, the cycle of birth and rebirth is fundamentally…

Our Coloring Page today

Our Coloring Page today features the black and white version of the Soul Card from the Tarot of Hekate. This picture can be found in 'Rev. Don's Pagan And Magical Clip Art.' In the image the Soul is likened to the God, born of Goddess. Solar, Lunar, and Terrestrial symbolism is used. The Goddess' costume is used to illustrate Her role as the Nuos or Universal Soul of Life.…

Life is as Good as You make it!

This past year had been fraught with pain, surgery, and many challenges. I learned that I can survive and I feel stronger then anytime spent in the last two years. I underwent a Bi-Ventricle Shunt in my brain last September. Complications required follow-up surgery in October.

My hair is growing back now, my heart ❤ feels light with all the possibilities for this coming new year. I am finally out of pain and feel that I can accomplish much.

One thing I have learned: Do Not… Continue

Isis Crystal

Happy Full Moon!

This evening is a wonderful time to utilize the power of the Isis Quartz Crystal.

The Beautiful Isis calls in the feminine, assisting with Trust & nurturing. Due to the geometric shape of the face which produces the Isis Crystal, this One is wonderful to connect to the Ancient Egyptian culture.

The bottom of the face is horizontal, the 2 lower sides moving upward are even & point outward; the top sides of the faces are also equal but longer,…

Our Coloring Page today

Our Coloring Page today is taken from 'Rev. Don's Super-Omnibus of Magical Incantations and Invocations for All occasions." This is an image of the Lord of Winter, done for the December cover of The Round Table Magazine in the late 1990s. The God is depicted with Antlers and associated with both Solar and Lunar symbolism. Columns bearing images of bull and stag and the Wheel of the Year stand to either side, and the horned serpent of Cernunnos slithers on the ground and features in the…

yule ritual...WOW

I went to my first yule ritual and feast just this past Monday. It was thrilling. the food was wonderful but the best part was the ritual. We cast our circle, chanted, and made our wishes for the year. everything was perfect. The fire was beautiful. The best part was when My friend Paul threw the yule log into the fire and we all cast in our candles with our wishes. The feelings that I had were indescribable. My entire body felt like it was vibrating and was going to explode from the energy…

Happy Holidays everyone!

What are you celebrating this holiday season?

Are you celebrating Hanukkah? Christmas? Kwanzaa? Yalda? Dongzhi? Korochun? Sanghamitta? Ziemassvetki? Or Yule?

Whatever you are celebrating this season, know that it is not all about religion or the specific faith you belong and affiliated with.

But this holiday season is all about Love.

and yes! This season is all about love. It is not about the gifts you are giving or receiving. It is…

Do God need Money?

I often see money post at Facebook as well as hearing from a Christian Pastors and Tele evangelist that God will bless the people with Financial Wealth.

But do really God bless us with Money? If that is so why there are preachers who ask money from their members in order to support the works of God? There are street preachers collecting money from people who does not belong to their sect/denomination and even on public utility buses.

Why is that so? Do God need money to sustain…

Our Coloring Page today

Our Coloring Page today is a piece I did back in the 1980's which can be found in 'Rev. Don's Pagan and Magical Clip Art'. The figure is a fairy, done as a black and white illustration for the magazine 'Seasonal Silver' published by Donna Lyon Rhose. Seasonal Silver came out four times a year and featured articles, artwork, and Donna's wonderful poetry. Back in those days small magazines of this type were one of the primary instruments of communication across the Pagan community, filling a…

Our Coloring Page today

Our Coloring Page today is another older piece taken from 'Rev Don's Pagan and Magical Clip Art'. This piece was done in the 1980s as an illustration for the Wheel of Hekate, the magazine I published in those far-off days. The picture shows an ancient Queen. Her costume is Phoenician but heavily influenced by Egypt, as Phoenician costume was in certain periods.…

Our Coloring Page

Our Coloring Page today is a piece that I did around the time of the Chicago Pagan Leadership Conferences, in the early '90s. The name of the piece is "All is Now" and it represented the idea of integrating the ancient and the modern. The flowery leopards on the altar are modeled on a similar altar at Catal Huyuk, while the Goddess image is the Venus of Willendorf of course. The roses and lilies on the altar represent life and death/Soul.…

is this reality really real?

Has anyone else ever stopped and thought, "Whoa is this really happening or is this all make believe?" I do this all the time. I will be walking along and then out of no where it feels like I'm not really here. Like nothing is really here. Is this all one big dream? The movie the matrix comes to mind here and I feel like I took the pill that sent me back here instead of with Neo. Crazy right. Please tell me that I am not the only one that experiences stuff like this. Sometimes I feel like I…

Our Coloring Page today

Our Coloring Page today shows the Goddesses Isis and Nepthys sustaining the Soul of the World, which has arisen like a lotus from the God Kheper or 'Manifestation', Who sits upon the Men sign representing stability and endurance. May the world be sustained and given peace, O Goddesses. This piece is from my first Clip Art Set.…

Our Coloring Page today is another piece from the unpublished Astrological set of which I have previously posted. Today we have a picture representing the Planet Uranos. Uranos is shown as a young woman standing in a high storm, holding a staff tipped with sigil of Uranos. Our Coloring Page today shows Hipparchia of Maroneia

Our Coloring Page today shows Hipparchia of Maroneia, a leading Cynic philosopher who lived around 325 BC. In the picture Hipparchia is shown with her husband Crates, also a Cynic philosopher. Hipparchia was Thracian, having been born in Maroneia, but she grew up in Athens. Her brother Metrocles was a Cynic philosopher who had studied under Crates of Thebes, the leading Cynic of the day. Impressed with the considerably older Crates, Hipparchia fell in love and decided that she wanted to…

Our Coloring Page for today shows Livia Drusilla

Our Coloring Page for today shows Livia Drusilla, the wife of Augustus Caesar, the first Emperor of Rome. Livia is often spoken of as the first Empress, although technically that title did not exist at the time. In the great culture clash between the Roman Empire and the Hellenistic world that occurred in the early part of her life, Livia was the opposite number to the Hellenistic Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. Unlike Cleopatra, whose name is still a household world, Livia is much less…
