I thank the Lord and Lady for hearing my prayers yesterday and helping me through my occipital nerve procedure. I had a unilateral radiofrequency done to my right occipital nerve and I was panicking because I'd heard only bad things about the pain level during recovery (I'm a wimp, so....yeah).
I prayed very sincerely and asked the Lord and Lady to grace me with the courage to face the procedure and to help the healing process with mild to moderate (I can take moderate) pain, if they saw… Continue

Elder's Meditation of the Day - April 9
"Everything really is equal. The Creator doesn't look at me any better than He looks at the trees. We're all the same."
--Janice Sundown Hattet, SENECA
Sometimes humans think we are the center of the Universe. Sometimes we think we are above or better than other people or things. The Great Spirit made a set of Laws and Principles by which all things should live. Everybody and everything lives by the same Laws. We are all made of atoms just… Continue

Hi Everyone! I wanted to share an incident that occurred in my backyard late a few nights ago that every one should take a lesson from. I throw out the scraps from dinner into the edge of the woods behind my home for all the creatures who want to have. I have a few squirrels and even a bobcat came to dine one night. But the most amazing thing I have ever saw was a red fox..and straight across from, munching from the same food, was an opossum. they were nearly nose to nose and acted they were… Continue

I think this site will be real awesome! I like being able to go straight to my other Pagan Communities without having to type in a bunch of diffrent URL's. Also I am able to get updates on from all of my sites, so I think that is great. I like having everything organized in one place. :-) Good Job WSI!!!!

Going back to Scotland in October!!!!!! Hooraah!! Haggis, Blood Pudding, 2 lbs of deep fried Haddock in one setting, a few kilts to make the heart flutter and more Sacred Stones than you can imagine. What a way to spend a week and a half.

I think this is going to take me a bit before I'm entirely over this incident. I am still befuddled by it, even though, it is funny, in a way.
This morning, while eating breakfeast, I heard a tinkling in the guest bathroom, and thought at first, since we had the water running over night and I left it on for a bit longer to make sure it wouldn't have a mind of attempting to freeze in the last minute, the water crane must have gotten loose.
Went to check, and looking into… Continue

I was looking for my faerie oracle of Brian froud last night. I have found my cards but there are about 15 cards MISSING!!!! There are 78 cards in this deck.
I don't remember just replacing them or that i have lost them all together.... I am so sad right now because this is my most wonderfull deck which i had bought a few years back when i finally had found it (after searching for it for ages) at a pagan fair in a… Continue

Well I am putting up my first blog on this site, a real quick one. I only have internet access right now at work, so my involvement with WSI right now is minimized compared to the last year. I look forward to finding all my old friends from BOS on here, and finding more!
I finally ordered my stole and patches last week; I was waiting until I had something to put on the degree side. I now have a white stole with the 1st Degree and Web Weaver patches to go on it. The Correllian sigil… Continue

The Witch School Conference "Pagans in Global Action" is almost upon us -and we can hardly wait! This conference will be unlike any other, and was created in direct response to the issues facing the Pagan community today.
The conference will be in Salem, Mass. -"Witch City"- the weekend of April 17 - 19!
This Conference is envisioned very much as a teaching conference, and has been put together with an eye to many of the things our people feel… Continue

I believe I have talked before on the old site about my pipes. It was last summer that I got a call from a band mate telling me of a piper that wanted to pass on there pipes. Now I don't know how many of you are musicians but to many of us our instrument take on a spirit of there own, and extension of ourselves. To pass on your instrument is to pass on a bit of your self. You live on when your instrument is played buy another when you can play no more. This was what was happening for me and… Continue

The Circle is, above all things, a place where all the puzzle pieces fit together to make a whole- and where the perfect picture is fully realized as truly being a masterpiece of artful and separate parts. Within the Circle alone, I am known, accepted, and cherished as being a human of complete love and earth-shattering potential- and I feel as I do when I am with my most cherished friend and soul-sister. As a group, our differences make us more alike to each other than our similarities, and… Continue

Now that I’ve created a new profile on another networking site, what will I do with this? The most obvious thing is to journal my spiritual thoughts here. The other, equally obvious thing is to participate in this community. It was a goal last year, continuing this year to become more active in the pagan community. I’ve done a lot in 2008 and look forward to 2009.
The beginning of the year as been a little bit hectic for me. There was a major restructure at work, which has been a… Continue

I just got moved over from the old site, I'm looking forward to hanging out here at the new place. Even at the old place I had become very inactive. I hope to change that here. The reason among others was that My granddaughter was born on October the 6th, 14 weeks premature. She weighed 1lb 14oz. She is doing well now, weighing in at over 12lb. and this evening Grandpa will get to do some baby sitting.
Tomorrow the local Scottish society is holding gathering in the local mull. It's… Continue

You are on a forest path surrounded by majestic oak trees and regal yellow woods. The fallen leaves under foot are dappled with sunlight filtering through the canopy overhead. It is a path you traveled many times. In your right hand is an age worn walking stave and on your back is your trusty hiking pack.
As you are walking you notice for the first time a narrow overgrown path leading to your left.… Continue

So last night was hanging out with one of my buddies from High School. We haven't really seen much of each other since I graduated (I'm a few years her senior) so it was nice to meet up and just chat!
Well we were talking about EVERYTHING from boys, to movies, to books, to the government and public displays of weirdness lol.
So eventually, the subject of religion came up. And I've known that she's a really devout Mormon, so I was actually really hesitant to discuss… Continue

Does anyone listen to any pagan podcasts or pagan based internet radio? This is a great medium for pagans to get their thoughts and ideas out there!

Moving Witchschool to a Ning was kind a surprising bit of news to receive, but, I can see the pros of it as well. Now I just hope that my dial-up is going to work me on this! lol I'm excited, but also wondering what's going to happen next with the new direction that Witchschool's been taking. :)
