For our first card today we have Strength, a Major Arcanum that tells us we have all the strength we need to deal with the situations at hand. Next is the Seven of Coins, which represents being uncertain as to our direction, reassessing our plans and reconsidering our circumstances. And finally we have the Two of Rods, indicating new ideas and directions. Altogether these three cards suggest that we are in a strong position today, but trying out new ideas and considering new projects.
A good stone for today would be Jasper, which helps to promote flexibility, adaptability, and openness to new ideas and new situations.

Daily Question: Yesterday we asked: What is a kitsune?
Answer: Kitsune is the Japanese word for fox who are a common subject of Japanese folklore. Stories depict them as intelligent beings and as possessing magical abilities that increase with their age and wisdom. Foremost among these is the ability to assume human form. While some folktales speak of kitsune employing this ability to trick others, other stories portray them as faithful guardians, friends, lovers, and wives. Foxes and humans lived close together in ancient Japan; this companionship gave rise to legends about the creatures. Kitsune have become closely associated with Inari, a Shinto spirit, and serve as its messengers. This role has reinforced the fox's supernatural significance. Because of their potential power and influence, some people make offerings to them as to a deity.
