Merry Meet!

I'm excited to say that, in the near future, I will most likely be taking a trip to Italy! I was wondering, in planning my visit, if there was anywhere where I could be better connected with the Goddess? As in, is there a place in Italy where there is an abundance of New Age shops, or people?

I have never been to Italy, but I would LOVE to go someday... Places on my list:

Rome: the catacombs, the Colosseum, temples (especially temple of vesta), the pantheon, Santi Cosma e Damiano.
Tuscany... in general
Palermo: Museo Archeologico Regionale
Pompeii- volcano site and Villa dei Misteri
Lake Nemi, Museo delle Navi Romane

Of course none of these mean anything if you don't read up about them first! I would also spend plenty of time in the countryside and in places that inspired the ancients. Have a great trip!

Blessed Be!

I've been to Italy several times. I took a group of ladies there in 2007 in search of the Goddess. We studied all the Roman Goddesses before we went. Tuscany has many ancient Etruscan sites. Assissi, although Christian, has a special vibe for me. Sienna is an ancient walled city which is lovely, Rome, of course. The ruins at Pompeii are a must see, as is the Isle of Capri. Even if you have seen the movie, read the book, Under the Tuscan Sun, before you go, its the true story. I know you will have a marvelous time. Italy is the one place I always want to go back to.
