Pagan News and Views Since 1998

Greetings everyone,

I hope that you have celebrated a wonderful Equinox, whether Ostara in the Northern Hemisphere or Mabon in the Southern Hemisphere.

I am writing to tell you that I have closed the World of Witches Museum in Salem. I wish to thank everyone for their enthusiastic support of this project. I am very grateful for all of the kindness and support I have received during my time in Salem. I am especially grateful to our staff at the Museum, and above all to all of those who came out to the Museum to meet us and tour the facility. I have greatly enjoyed meeting each and every one of you.

As you may know I was recently hospitalized with cardiac issues arising from stress and exhaustion, and it was made very clear to me that I could not continue as I was. The Museum was a personal project of mine, one that I had long dreamed of doing and put a great deal of effort into. In many ways it encapsulated my personal vision of our community and its history. So closing it was not an easy choice -but in the end I felt it was a necessary choice. I want to thank everyone who has given me so much help, and shown me so much support during this project -I cannot tell you how much it means to me and how much I appreciate it. Bless you every one.

Of course I will be continuing the many other things I do and I hope that you will continue to enjoy my work and find it of value.

Thank you and may you be blessed,
Rev. Don Lewis

Oh, terrible news :( I much wanted to go over to Salem one day and visit :( I am sorry to hear, but respect that it was a difficult and necessary decision. I ask the Egyptian lord Sobek to watch over you and give you strength. Blessed Be Rev. Don.

I am greatly saddened to hear you have been unwell and that you are forced to close a project that means so much to you and many many others. I hope you are recovering well from your recent illness and I send you my thoughts, blessings and love.
I thank you for all you have done to bring this wonderful religion and way of life to the many all around the world, and if it weren't for yourself and Witchschool I may never have discovered how beautifully enriched my life could be. Thank you and Blessed Be Rev. Don.

Hey Rev Don, I've been avoiding accepting this, - this is devastating to me, the WoW Museum was such a source of great energy for me, I loved it dearly. it will always have an important place in my heart.
I feel sorry for all of those who have never been there.
