Have you ever made a love potion that you drink. I though of making something with dandelion wine.

Merry Meet :)

I am very interested in combining my understanding as an aromatherapist into teh world of potions. I also work with herbs and flowers from time to time. Am looking to find a common point between everything and bring it together :) Looking forward to learning and sharing with everyone here :)

Just thought I'd share an allergy helper.

4 cups purified water
1 teaspoon wild cherry bark (is a cough suppressant)
1 teaspoon local honey (local helps w/ local allergies by desensitizing you to pollens in your area so stress on the local part)
1 teaspoon echinacea root (prompts the immune system)
1 teaspoon licorice root (balances the other herbs to soothe the mucous membranes and ease the discomfort of sore throats and wheezing also helps with flavor ;) )
1 teaspoon white inner part of an orange rind (not sure if that has a name, but it acts as an anti-inflammatory agent)

Bring water to a boil and then add the herbs and orange rind. Let it boil for around 5 mins then simmer for another 15. Strain, and stir in the honey. This can be taken hot or cold.

This combo of herbs is known for the reduction of swelling of the mucous membranes and will support your immune system to better clear out the toxins. So bottoms up to your good health and blessed be.

2 tsp. dried & shredded yohimbe bark
2 tsp. dried & shredded ginkgo leaf
1 tsp. pure potassium gluconate powder
5 tsp. hot chocolate powder

Mix all ingredients in an air tight container, spoon 1 1/2 tsp. of the mixture in a tea infuser and allow to steep in a cup of hot water for 15 minutes before drinking.

Look up Cleansing and Protection spells. Most of these are simple and best learned first.
